The Differences Between PVC Conveyor Belt and PVK Conveyor Belt
The PVC conveyor belts and the PVK conveyor belts are different in manufacturing materials, layers, colors, applications, etc.
Materials
The main difference between PVC conveyor belts and PVK conveyor belts is that they are made of different materials. PVC conveyor belts are made of polyethylene. PVK conveyor belts are made of integral braid and then soaked with PVK fire-resistant and impact-resistant coating.
Layers
PVC conveyor belts may contain multiple layers, and the different layers are bonded together primarily by adhesive. The fabric layer of the PVK conveyor belt is an integral core fabric, and the braided fabric core is then soaked in PVK slurry for production. PVK conveyor belts are mainly used in conveying systems for packaging materials. There is no hidden danger of delamination in this product.
Colors
The PVC conveyor belts has varies of colors. They can be blue, green, white, black, etc. The PVK conveyor belts are common black.
Conveyors
Some models of the PVC conveyor belts can be used in trough conveyors and flat conveyors, but the PVK conveyor belts are only able to be used in flat conveyors.
