What is belt v-guides?
V-guided belting is accomplished by bonding a continuous plastic. The belt V guides are often made of Polyurethane or PVC. They are will be welded on to the industrial conveyor belt. The structure of V guides are a trapezoidal cross section which is similar to V belts (TPU V Belts).
How is the belt v-guides to prevent belt deviation?
V-guides are profiles applied to the bottom of conveyor belts to help in tracking the belt. After installation of conveyor belts, the belt v guides will be cut into the end roller and the the bed plate of the belt conveyor. This makes the conveyor belt tracked.

Usage of Belt V-guides
Short, wide belts, and long, narrow belts are both good candidates for V-guides, as well as popular for reversing belts. Almost all industrial conveyor belts ( including PVC conveyor belt and TPU conveyor belt ) can be added v guides. And belt guides can provide high performance on the conveyor system with low tension or low speed. Profiles can replace sidewalls (when conveying products in bulk). Furthermore, they can track belts on swan neck conveyors.
The Installation Positions of Belt V Guides
There are mainly four types positions to install belt v guides. You can see them from the picture below. And they are center, offset, dual center to center, and edge center to center.
